Former President, John Agyekum Kufuor has called on all Presidential aspirants contesting the December 7th general elections to accept the choice of the electorates.
He said, anybody wanting to lead us must submit to our choice.
The Former President was addressing the gathering at the signing of a peace pact in Kumasi on Tuesday, ex-President Kufuor opined that this is necessary to safeguard the peace of the country because in the past people have done all sorts of things to secure power. "Some will kill, some will lie, some would do anything to get the power... but power belongs to the people.”
Calling on all stakeholders to be alert, he said, they must ensure that whoever is chosen as President will command the respect from every citizen in the country, “this is where peace will be secured for all of us.”
