THREE TRAPPED DEAD IN THEIR MUD HOUSE AT EGYAM

The people of Egyam suburb of Apowa in the Ahanta West District of the Western Region wake-up on Wednesday morning to a shocking news as a mud house collapsed on a family of three.

The incident involved a 60-year old woman and her two grandchildren at Egyam. The deceased woman whose name was given as Grace Nson and the two young boys of ages three and seven were sleeping in their mud house when it collapse on them after a heavy downpour which rocked parts of the region at the don of Wednesday.

One James Quaicoe who was also affected by the collapsed structure is currently on admission at a hospital receiving treatment. Meanwhile bodies of the deceased’s have been deposited at the mortuary.
An eyewitness who helped in breaking their door to search for them under the mud narrated to the news team what he saw.
